This program is designed for owners and managers of horticulture companies and focuses on core business skills required to run a successful landscape company. Candidates earn their designation by successfully completing a series of 7 written evaluations.
The Certified Landscape Horticulture Manager (CLHM) is an industry-developed designation that sets and maintains standards for business management in the nursery and landscape industry.
By becoming a CLHM, each individual has undergone an exhaustive written examination that tests knowledge, skills and theory required to run a successful company. Once certified, the individual continues to upgrade their skills through a mandatory continuing education program. This designation is recommended for owner/operator or managerial level staff to establish a high level of professionalism at the top causing excellence to flows through the rest of the company and its operations.
