CLD Accreditation for Canadian Landscape Architects
Full members in good standing of a recognized Canadian Landscape Architectural Association can apply to become a Certified Landscape Designer (CLD) through the Landscape Horticulture Certification Program (LHCP). They must complete the CLD Legacy Application, submit proof of current association membership through a ‘Letter of Good Standing’, and pay the required application fee.
$325.00 for trade members
$425.00 for non-members
To maintain the CLD designation as a Canadian Landscape Architect, individuals must recertify every 24 months by completing the information section of the Landscape Horticulture Certification Program (LHCP) Recertification Form, submitting a ‘Letter of Good Standing’ from their provincial association, and paying the applicable recertification fee. Landscape architects who are not required by their provincial association to complete continuing education units (CEUs) must complete the Landscape Horticulture Certification Program (LHCP) Recertification Form in full, including a list of 24 CEUs every 24 months.
